This structured Cabernet comes from the Mt Veeder AVA where the high altitude, steep slopes, and volcanic soil create intensely flavored wine with good structure, acidity, and fruit. It shows bright red fruit notes and a plush texture on the palate.  The Mt Veeder Cab was blended with 7% Cabernet Franc (Mt. Veeder) and 2% Merlot (Rutherford).
